A local connection
Rooted in Algeciras.
Open to both shores.
David Pelayo
We connect eclipse travellers with hosts proposing overnight stays, viewing-only spaces without an overnight stay, or both.
EclipseStay Spain is a service by NEXO APEX, S.L., a Spanish software company based in El Vendrell. The project began at the Strait and now invites proposals in Spain, Gibraltar, Tangier, Oran, Sfax, Benghazi and Luxor. These are recruitment destinations, not confirmed availability. We welcome overnight stays, viewing-only spaces without an overnight stay, or both.
Our role
We build the directory and the tools for access, listings and bidding. The host supplies accommodation; guest and host agree and pay for the stay directly.
The paid waitlist, from €5, funds directory development and an initial review of traveller requirements. A higher amount gives that review priority. It does not buy accommodation or the portal access opening on 1 December 2026.
Useful information for your trip
The guide compares locations using computed eclipse data. We distinguish totality from the partial eclipse and link to official sources so you can check your exact location.
Eclipse artwork is illustrative; it does not show a property or guarantee the view from a stay.
We are an independent service, with no affiliation to NASA, IGN or public authorities.
