Your €200 deposit.
Your options, clearly.
Deposit and final-price terms · 2 August 2027 eclipse
1. Who you are dealing with
NEXO APEX, S.L. provides the pre-reservation and booking-intermediary service. Its company and contact details are in the legal notice. The eventual accommodation is provided by the named host or operator. You must be at least 18.
2. What your €200 deposit covers
You pay a €200 refundable deposit in euros to initiate a pre-reservation search for accommodation around the 2 August 2027 eclipse. The deposit is not the final accommodation price. It is credited in full toward the final price of a stay you accept. It is not a damage deposit, insurance, or confirmation of a specific property. You are not guaranteed inventory, a particular property or a matching date.
3. How your final accommodation price is set
Your final accommodation price is disclosed with your specific offer, no later than 15 days before the eclipse — 18 July 2027. It reflects the actual property, host and dates, and can be up to 10× your deposit, up to €2,000. The applicable cap depends on the property and on how early you pay your €200 deposit: paying earlier fixes a lower cap; paying later allows a higher one. Your deposit is credited in full toward whatever final price you accept.
The table below is illustrative — a starting point for how the cap works, not a locked final tariff. The multiplier actually applied to your booking depends on the specific property and is always confirmed with your offer, within the cap for your payment date.
| Deposit paid by | Final price capped at up to |
|---|---|
| 31 December 2026 | 3× your deposit (up to €600) |
| 31 March 2027 | 5× your deposit (up to €1,000) |
| 30 June 2027 | 7× your deposit (up to €1,400) |
| 18 July 2027 (15 days before the eclipse) | 10× your deposit (up to €2,000) |
Whatever your final price turns out to be, you do not have to accept it. You may decline the disclosed final price and receive a full refund of your €200 deposit; see section 6.
4. Your agreed search criteria
Your form records dates, area, stay type, party size, bedrooms and budget. We contact you to confirm your requirements, including any practical access needs and an exact budget if you selected a flexible range. Suitability is assessed against those agreed written criteria. We cannot unilaterally widen them or treat an over-budget or otherwise unsuitable property as a matching offer.
5. Cancellation by 30 June 2027
You can cancel the pre-reservation for a full €200 refund by notifying us at the email in the legal notice no later than 30 June 2027, 23:59 CEST (Europe/Madrid). Include your payment reference and contact email. We process eligible refunds to the original payment method within 14 calendar days of the request; your bank may take additional time to display the credit. No processing fee is deducted from that €200 refund.
6. After the deadline — or if you decline your final price
From 1 July 2027, voluntary cancellation of an ongoing search is non-refundable, subject to mandatory consumer rights. We may continue searching until your stated arrival date. If no offer meeting your agreed criteria has been provided before arrival, or if you do not want to accept your disclosed final price, we refund the full €200 deposit within 14 calendar days, irrespective of the June deadline. This right applies however late your final price is disclosed, including after the 30 June deadline above. If we discontinue the service or cannot perform it, the same full-refund principle applies. You may decline an unsuitable offer, or decline your disclosed final price, without either being treated as a match you must accept.
7. Accepting a specific property
You receive the host identity, property and registration details, dates, capacity, facilities, the final price and mandatory charges, applicable taxes, remaining payment schedule, cancellation rules and any damage-security or insurance terms before accepting. Your final price is set under section 3 and is always within the cap for your deposit payment date. Your €200 deposit is credited in full toward the accepted stay. You remain free to decline the offer, including on price, under section 6. Once you accept, the specific accommodation agreement governs accommodation cancellation, without retrospectively removing rights already acquired under these pre-reservation terms.
8. Statutory consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. The legal classification of a preliminary intermediary agreement can differ from date-specific accommodation. Any mandatory cooling-off or withdrawal right applying to this pre-reservation remains available, including after the June deadline. We do not rely on the date-specific accommodation exception to remove rights from an unassigned preliminary service.
9. Payments and invoices
Stripe processes the €200 deposit payment. We collect your first name, surname, email, phone, tax/ID number and billing address for payment administration and invoice identification. We do not receive your card number. The invoice concerns the deposit payment; it is not evidence that a property has been booked or that a final price has been agreed. Tax treatment follows the applicable rules for this transaction.
10. Roles, problems and claims
The host provides the accommodation and handles check-in, keys, cleanliness, maintenance and support during the stay. NEXO APEX remains responsible for its own intermediary service and applicable duties. Contact us promptly about deposit, payment or refund problems. Mandatory complaint channels remain available.
11. Viewing and applicable law
Accommodation does not include an event, transport, equipment or guaranteed eclipse visibility. Spanish law applies without depriving consumers of applicable mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence. Jurisdiction follows applicable consumer and procedural rules, not an exclusive company-location court clause.
